1. Introduction
At Creed, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how Lemon Tree Labs Inc may collect, use, store, and disclose information when you use the Creed website, mobile applications, and related services.
2. Data We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Name, email address, age, denomination, and church affiliation provided during registration or onboarding.
- Device and technical information: Device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, and similar technical data.
- Usage information: Features used, time spent in the app, streaks, achievements, and interaction patterns.
- Communications and content: Text messages, prompts, and other content you submit through chats, prayer journals, gratitude entries, prayer wall posts, comments, forms, or waitlists.
- Voice and audio data: If you use voice chat features, your microphone input is captured and processed in real time to provide the service. Audio is not stored after processing unless required for safety purposes.
- Photos and images: If you share images through the AI chat feature, those images are transmitted to our servers for processing and are not retained beyond the session.
- Location data: We may infer a general location (country or region) from your IP address to support features like church suggestions and regional analytics. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Subscription and transaction data: Purchase history and subscription status managed through Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not store full payment or card details.
- Support communications: Messages you send to our support team.
Some of the information we collect — including religious beliefs, denomination, church affiliation, and spiritual content shared through the app — may be considered sensitive personal information under applicable law. We handle this data with care and use it only as described in this Policy.
3. How We Use Your Data
We may use your information to operate and improve our services, provide AI-generated features, respond to support requests, personalize product experiences, maintain account security, communicate with you, comply with legal obligations, and detect, prevent, or address misuse, safety incidents, or unlawful activity. We also use certain data for marketing attribution — for example, to understand which channels are driving app installs — solely to promote our own app and not to sell your data to third parties.
4. AI Interactions and Safety
If you use AI-powered features, your prompts, responses, and related metadata may be processed to provide the service, improve quality, enforce policies, and support safety and abuse prevention. Where permitted by law, we may review or use conversation content and related signals to investigate harmful behavior, enforce restrictions on self-harm or other unsafe content, and provide safety-related notices or crisis resources.
5. Community and User-Generated Content
Certain features — such as the Prayer Wall and prayer comments — allow you to share content with other users of the app. Content you submit to public or community features may be visible to other users. Please do not share information in public features that you would not want others to see. We moderate community content for safety and policy compliance.
6. Data Sharing
We may share information with service providers, infrastructure partners, analytics providers, and other vendors that help us operate the service, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
- LiveKit — real-time voice communication infrastructure
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
- Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics — product analytics and usage insights
- Sentry — error monitoring and crash reporting
- Adjust, Tenjin, Meta (Facebook), TikTok — mobile marketing attribution (used solely to measure and optimize our own advertising campaigns)
We do not sell your personal data. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate abuse or illegal activity, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental loss, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, or alteration. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to operate the service, satisfy legal requirements, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and support safety, fraud, and abuse prevention.
9. Children's Privacy
Creed is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at [email protected].
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy-related choices, subject to applicable law. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
